Young Flyers (Children's Classes)

 

Our Young Flyers classes are aimed at 10-15 year olds. Aerial classes will help your children develop motor skills, balance, co-ordination and, above all, confidence in a safe and fun environment.

Classes are 1 hour long, including a warm up and cool down. We run with 2 students per equipment, but this can vary and change according to the lesson plan.

The Equipment is hung from the ceiling with a thick crash mat underneath at all times. In class there will be a fully qualified instructor present at all times (and usually an assistant also). The children will be taught moves as group by the instructor. Each child will take their turn to try the new moves and may have to be spotted/supported whilst performing the move.

During classes we offer progressions and variations to suit all abilities. For these classes we recommend that your child wears comfortable fitted clothes and students must bring a water bottle to class to stay hydrated.

We kindly ask parents to drop off their children and collect them at the end of the session. We find that children are more focused during a lesson when their parents are not present. However we do arrange student showcases throughout the year so family and friends can come along and watch our students  perform and show off their progress.
