Don't Fear Being a Beginner

Everyone is a beginner in something at some point!
As we grow older it can be hard to be a beginner again, or start something new. We question ourselves and our capabilities. We wonder if we have the time, the skill, the talent, the ability... or any combination of these.
But we must all admit we don’t know everything and in fact, we might know very little about many things. And here’s the most important part - that doesn’t make you stupid, incapable or unworthy. It just means you’re a beginner, and you can learn.
You are smart, teachable, and capable of anything. You just have to start. Embrace the journey, make some friends along the way, and accept the support of the community around you. Try new things, meet new people and do what makes you happy ❤️
I’m so glad I went to my first pole class all those years ago! I look back now and think that if I had listened to other people who told me not to do it, and listened to the internal fear holding me back, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I wouldn’t be as happy, healthy or confident as I am today. And I wouldn’t have met all of the wonderful people or had all of the opportunities and experiences that I did.
Whatever it is you want to do… it’s NEVER too late ✨
